Stockbridge Golf Club

Stockbridge Golf Club was founded in 1895, one of the oldest clubs in the United States. Relatively flat, but narrow, the course is challenging. The Housatonic River runs through the course and comes into play on 11 of the 18 holes. One can actually hit a tee shot on the 10th and with either a hook or slice, find the same river. Stockbridge Golf Club has hosted the longest running Men’s Invitational tournament in the country, dating back to 1898. Surrounded by the Rockwell Museum, Tanglewood, Chesterwood and the historic Stockbridge downtown, it is worth a trip.
