The Harvard Club of Boston has partnered with Castle Island Brewing Company to produce 1908, a lager exclusively available at the Harvard Club. The brew was officially introduced at a launch event held at the Club on April 29.
This beer won a gold medal in the American Lager/Pilsner category at the 2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship and a silver medal in the American-style Lager category at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival. The naming of the brew, and the design of the label, was done by Harvard Club of Boston staff.
1908 lager will be available in both Clubhouses, in Veritas, ClubPub, and The Crimson and will be served at many member events.
