October 30, 2019 -The Harvard Club of Boston has once again been named a Platinum City Club of the World by the Club Leaders Forum. Platinum Club status is the pinnacle of recognition for private clubs around the globe. The Harvard Club of Boston is the only city club in New England to achieve this distinction.
Platinum Clubs excel in best practices and represent the standard of Excellence for the finest private Golf and Country Clubs and City Clubs around the globe. Clubs are elected by an international panel of experts, historians and connoisseurs based upon excellence in amenities and facilities; universal recognition; professional service levels; quality of membership; governance and management; and ability to adapt in changing times.
The election of City Clubs to Platinum Clubs of the World for 2020-21 revealed a very strong International presence. Only 29 of the Top 100 elected Platinum are located in the United States. The Harvard Club of Boston was also named a Platinum Club of America 2016. This award given to only the top 4% of private clubs nationwide.
