With panoramic views of Boston and beyond, the Downtown Harvard Club is truly the hidden jewel of wedding venues in the city. Treat your guests to cocktails and hors d'oeuvres overlooking the Charles River, Back Bay and Cambridge and then dinner and dancing in our ballroom overlooking Boston Harbor. Whether it is the vivid foliage of the fall, the stark beauty of the winter or the beautiful colors of the spring and summer, your wedding photos will be forever adorned with a back drop that you can only get in one place- the 38th floor of One Federal.

Not to be outdone by the view, our spectacular menu holds its own quite nicely making your special day an occasion of sensory balance and harmony your guests won't soon forget.

And on a Saturday or Sunday the Club is exclusively yours for the evening. You and your guests will have the undivided attention of our staff completely dedicated to your event.

Our capacity for a sit down dinner with a dance floor is 170. We are able to accommodate ceremonies on site for up to 150 guests for an additional fee (170 if chivari chairs are rented). Additional photos of our venue can be found here.

"Our wedding at the Harvard Club was like a fairy tale.  The view of the Boston skyline from the club was unbelievable, especially during sunset and when the lights brighten the city at night.  The food was delicious (the beef wellington, Thai beef appetizer and apple strudel are to die for!), the decorations were outstanding, and the atmosphere was truly elegant. 

But what really makes the Harvard Club stand out is the service.  Dawn, our wedding manager, was incredibly wonderful to work with!  She helped us with every facet of our wedding, from helping us pick out the food, advising us on how to set up the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and managing the rehearsal.  And she was just amazing at dealing with the wedding party and the guests.  She was always so pleasant and friendly that it made the whole process a great experience.  She even went out of her way to help us lug around huge jars of candy for our candy buffet and vases for our floral centerpieces.

Jodie, the banquet manager, was also outstanding.  She and her staff created the most beautiful candy buffet and were on top of everything on our wedding day.  We didn't have to worry at all on our big day because the Harvard Club staff made everything so perfect!  We still can't believe how smoothly everything went and how gorgeous everything was.
