On these pages you will find our Downtown Harvard Club’s latest renovations which were completed in late August 2011. Our Board of Governors is excited about these enhancements to our Members’ experience, and is confident that you will enjoy them as well!
The Terrace area of our Main Dining Room will feature three “Privacy Dining” booths that will comfortably seat four guests each and will be equipped with Wi-Fi and Internet capabilities. New carpeting, lighting, and elegant wall treatments will complete this welcome addition to our Dining Room. We will still retain our ever-popular corner Round Table for our members’ continued enjoyment!
The Art Gallery and The Crimson Entrance will be converted into an elegant and comfortable members’ space with easy chairs and tables with lamps. Luxurious carpeting, wall treatments and artwork will also entice members to use this space as a getaway from activity around the Club for small, informal get-togethers or just cocktails with a friend!
The prestigious Miller Room will become our version of a “Cyber Café” with upgraded Wi-Fi capabilities and work counters where members can do some pre-meeting preparation, put the final touches on a presentation, or simply browse the web in an informal and comfortable setting. New furniture, carpeting, wood flooring and light fixtures will adorn this room, as well, and a permanent beverage station will be installed to serve our members their complimentary coffee and tea during the day.
At long last, we will be installing a much-anticipated Reception Station in the Elevator Lobby to assist our members and their guests in finding their way around the Club to their meeting rooms, events, or appointments. In addition to this sleek wood-paneled reception desk (replete with the HC logo!), new carpeting and wood flooring will be added to complete this upgrade. The entire space will be bathed in new LED and inset lighting to make a great first impression when you exit the elevators to the Club.
